Lisa Edelstein, an American actress who is best known for House, a Fox medical drama. With a strict Jewish upbringing, Lisa Edelstein moved from Wayne into New York City when she aged 18 and began attending Tisch School of Arts. The school quickly became a fixture in the New York club scene. The performances she gave were so captivating that local media took notice. In the end, she teamed her talents and fame her writing skills and composition abilities to produce a play called Positive Me. Her first gig was at MTV as the host of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after. After the show ended, she started appearing in films and television productions initially in smaller parts, but gradually establishing her acting career.
