Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne with three other siblings. When she was 17, her parents split up. The financial issues continued to mount when their business went bankrupt. Anorexia, bulimia and other mental disorders contributed to the problems. About her decision to quit as the singer of ARCH ENEMY Gossow stated that there's a time and place for everything. I first started in the year 1991. The joy of living in the open road had diminished. After a while, I realized that I could not be a fool anymore, but instead take a break. The German vocalist Angela Gossow replaced Johan Liiva as the original leader of the group in the year 2000.
